INSTRUCTIONS

1 – Retrieve the goals you submitted in Project & Portfolio I.  Review your short-term, medium-term and long-term goals and tactics.  (my smart goal are attached at the bottom) Create a 3 to 4 minute audio and video Quicktime movie discussing the  questions below. You may wish to review “Build a Successful Brand: Five Ways to Get SMART When Setting Goals.”

2 – Address all of the following questions in your video:

• What was your short-term goal and why did you choose it?
• Have you achieved your short-term goal? Why or why not?
• What tactics have you used to achieve this goal? Please describe your tactics in detail.
• How well have your tactics worked?
• If you have not achieved your short-term goal, outline a recovery plan.
• If circumstances have changed and you need to alter the goal, explain why and how.
• Then create a new, more appropriate goal for your current environment and the tactics you will use.
• Describe the steps you have taken toward your medium-term and long-term goals.
• Again, alter any goals for which circumstances have changed.

GOAL ONE

SWho? Myself

What? To be able to open another store for my transportation company until the current one is finished being renovated.

Where? Central Florida in the city

Why? Because I feel it will be better for business to operate in a store that look presentable when clients come in and out

Which? (constraints and requirements) I have been back and forward about opening many different stores but because of the recent Hurricane my store was ripped apart, it has put me in a bind that I would have to hold off on. Because money is tight I’m currently in the process of fixing up my building I have no choice but to find a temporary location until the time being so that my employees will be able to feel comfortable and safe as well as being able to get the clients to and from there destinations.

MMy building will be back in business by November 28,2017 which will give me the time I need to put everything back in order. Once the building is ready the only thing that I will need to do is to move everybody in and get everything situated within the office before the inspector come the next day.

AMy goal to be able to get my store back up and running so my clients and employees can feel safe knowing and feeling that everything will be back normal again. It just a matter of have patients and me putting in the work to making sure the job gets done.

RMy goal is to continue to go further and beyond there’s no stopping for me because I have so many people whom depends on me. My brand represents me and because of that I must make sure that everything goes right as planned. I must make sure that my clients and workers feel as comfortable because they are the reason why I stay afloat.

TI plan and hope to have everything done by or before my due date of November 28, 2017

Tactic 1:  Research different locations to finding the right spot for my temp store

Tactic 2:  Making sure everything goes as plan before the due date approach

Tactic 3:  Making sure the employees and the clients feel comfortable during the relocation of the property

GOAL TWO

SWho? Myself

What? To obtain a loan to getting more cars and vans for my business so that I’m able to expand my brand across the State of Florida

Where? Throughout the State of Florida and possible GA.

Why? I feel that you should never stay in one spot you should be able to expand your brand especially if the funds are right. My main goal is to be known throughout the country and it takes time and patients I’m willing to go the extra miles to making my dreams become reality.

Which? (constraints and requirements) I have started the process of getting different loans and I have been in contact with so many loan agencies. You never want to just pick any loan agency, you must go through a lot of paper work and make sure the percentages are not too expensive. I have my lawyer helping me out and it’s going to take a least a year to get everything situation with the loan and the cars.

MBecause I have already started the process and we are currently going through applications I have giving myself until next January 2018 to make a discussion on the loans by that time I should already have the cars and vans that I need to purchase once the loans get approved. With the help of my lawyer he will keep me update with all the loans information

AThis goal will be reasonable because I make sure I keep a low profile with all my vendors as well as pay what needs to be paid on time. I knew sooner or later that I would need more vehicle so deep down I know that the loans will be approved.

RMe getting more cars and vans for the company will be worth it because it will bring in more revenue and boost the clientele.

TEverything should be finalized in January 2018

Tactic 1:  Continue to find different loans that meet my needs for the business

Tactic 2:  Finding different ways of making the brand expand

Tactic 3:  Making sure that I meet my deadline and getting the cars and vans that I need

GOAL THREE

SWho? Myself and my business partner

What? Going to different locations within Florida to see a potential building to buy

Where? Tampa, Miami, West Palm, Tallahassee

Why? Because I have always wanted to expand my brand further instead of being in one place why not expand to different places throughout the State of Florida. It will be good for my brand and help me build my clientele.

Which? (constraints and requirements) The benefits of opening different stores are that you can see different parts of Florida and meet new people. I want to be able to provide jobs for people that unable to find a job and get by brand out there

MBecause I have been out searching for different building throughout Florida I’m able to track the process by the real estate broker that I have hired to help me with this process.

AI believe that this will benefit me and my company because of the monies that will be coming into the company and because I will be promoting before the stores grand-opening it will bring potential clients to the store.

RThis goal is worthwhile because I have always dreamed of have my own business and expanding my brand throughout the state. And I have giving my all to my brand to make sure that everything go as I planned. My goal for my business is to be nationwide and it will take me years to get where I want to be.

TIt will take me years to be able to brand my business nationwide

Tactic 1:  Continue to look for building thought Florida to move my brand

Tactic 2:  Keeping up with my lawyers and brokers to make sure everything going good with the loans and property

Tactic 3:  Finding new ways of promoting and branding to bringing in even more money.
