The Iliad Assignment | English Literature

After reading The Iliad (Books 9-12), your task in this thread is to select the passage from Books 9-12 that you feel is most new and significant in relation to Books 1-8, and then post the following:

The passage itself (with page numbers)
A brief analytical statement from you about why this passage in particular seems most noteworthy in light of everything else we’ve read and discussed (no word count, but quality matters)
Three analytical questions drawn from this week’s reading. An analytical question would be one that would allow any of the rest of us to respond with our thoughts and ideas, as opposed to a merely informational question (again, quality matters here; demonstrate in your questions themselves that you’re thinking seriously about the specific events and details from Books 9-12). Make sure to number your three questions.

This is a discussion post which my teacher will be responding to. You are only allowed to use one source which is the book. I will provide a link to you in the chat to use for the book. It is the exact same version so, PLEASE STATE WHICH PAGE NUMBER THE PASSAGE YOU CHOSE WAS ON. I will provide samples of my writing so that you can see and write accordingly.
