In addition, it is necessary to   collaborate with families on the importance of self-regulation to   encourage independence in their home environment.

For this assignment, use creativity and innovative thinking to   create a 1-2 page digital brochure  to share with families at the   beginning of a school year.

The digital brochure should include the following:

• Explain how students’ self-regulation and ownership of     learning can increase engagement and promote self-efficacy.
• Describe the importance of establishing a learning environment     that fosters ownership of learning.
• Describe the roles of     the teacher, student, and family in establishing a culture of     self-regulation and independent learning .
• Provide 3-5     strategies to integrate self-regulation techniques into the learning   environment.

The digital brochure should include graphics that are relevant to   the content, visually appealing, and use space appropriately.
