I Personally struggle with getting enough rest on a daily basis, it gets bad enough where I feel myself dozing off during a movie or doing regular activities. For this project I would like to try improving my sleep patterns every night for to help function better and for health reasons, in order to do so I will measure how many hours I sleep at night using an app provided with my phone.
Currently I get about 4 to 5 hours of sleep each night which is considered to be my variable interval and my goal is to get to at least 8 hours of sleep every night. I would start off by setting a specific bedtime 10pm to get a fixed schedule try going to bed a half an hour earlier each night to work my way up to 8 hours for the first 3 to 4days, I would record data collected by writing down my bed time and awake time.
