Now is the time to start conducting your research about your topic area and narrowing down what you want to examine. Doing so will allow you to refine your topic, select a title, and develop your outline, model, and propositions. Remember that this topic is of interest to you! Thus, your research should be engaging to the future reader. What do you want them to know? Why do they need to know this? Why is this specific topic important and beneficial? How are you adding to the current body of literature that is already published? Consider these questions and others as you work to refine your paper and develop your research.Remember to use Google Scholar to aid in your search, but do not do what has already been done! Get creative and innovative!
The following outline is merely a guide to creating the outline for your research paper, given the topic you selected. Turning in this exact outline will result in the assignment not being reviewed, which means no feedback will be given, and you will be at a disadvantage when writing your research paper for final submission. Late submissions will not receive feedback. Remember that you are working to earn the highest possible points on the final assignment. Therefore, put your effort into the assignment as if this were a separate grade!
