Select a grade level CCRS related to Measurement and Data. Using the Class Profile, create one lesson plan with instructional activities that:
- Makes comparisons;
- Uses models of measuring units;
- Uses measuring instruments; and
- Represents and interprets the data.
Review the three videos of teachers teaching measurements and data.
Write a 250-500 word review of what you observed regarding the use of instructional steps in teaching measurement and alignment to the CCRs.
Prepare this assignment according to the APA guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is not required.

Classroom Overview
For this assignment, focus on the group of students in your Program of Study.
Create a classroom overview that will be used at the beginning of the school year with parents/guardians and students. You may make a newsletter, pamphlet, or mock-up of your webpage on the school website. Be creative, but include the following:
Introduce yourself, including contact information
Explain your classroom engagement and management plan with examples of:
Procedures
Rules and consequences
Reward system or not
Classroom expectations
What students will be learning and how they will be graded
Your communication with parents/guardians with consideration of various methods
A parents/guardian page to help build a relationship between them and you.

Parent/Guardian and student questionnaires

This assignment uses a rubric. Review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.

Write 250-500 word essay that addresses the following:
Explain a total of 10 ways teachers should be professional with each of the following: their students, parents, co-workers, and administrators.
Provide a detailed explanation of your strengths in dealing with each group.
Identify one area that you can improve in and how.
Explain the importance of being professional.
Your “Professionalism” will be part of your Personal Classroom Management Plan (Benchmark Assignment).
The instructor will provide feedback, which you will then use as the basis for revising the procedures. The revised section will then become part of the complete Personal Classroom Management Plan (Benchmark Assignment), which is due in Topic 8.
