Matlab Using Bracketing Assignment | Homework For You
February 17th, 2020
this is in Matlab using bracketing, i have done number 1, these are all using individual function files, each one should take in 3 inputs, the two numbers you want to identify a root between, and a user error so to call the function would be bisection(x1,x2,error). so a function for bisection, user defined error and false position with user defined error.
1. Create a function called fofx which has one output (y) and one input (x). The text of the function is as follows y=x^3+2x^2-111x+108
2. Create a function to calculate the root of function fofx (your code must call the other function, not hardcode the numbers) between 2 user defined inputs using bisection method. This function should tell the user if fofx for their inputs do not have the opposite sign.
3. Create a function to calculate the root of function fofx (your code must call the other function, not hardcode the numbers) between 2 user defined inputs using false positio method. This function should tell the user if fofx for their inputs do not have the opposite sign. Get Finance homework help today
