In the first paragraph identify the one you have chosen (artist and title) and what it is about the subject matter that appeals to you. This is your opinion but don’t use the terminology in this opening. But, remember that you will be referring to it later. You may even want to develop this part last.
In the second paragraph identify the type of balance (or the type of design) that is most evident in the work. There were two types of balance identified and two different designs identified within the form module. Choose one of those four. Discuss the objects that contribute to creating that balance or design. Apply implied weight if balance has been selected.
For the third paragraph choose one term from the elements module and apply it specifically within the work as to how it reinforces the subject matter. The term can come from any of those modules that have already been covered. Do not just state how it exists within the work, but also include the way it enhances the subject of the work.
For the fourth paragraph follow the direction for paragraph three using a different term.
For the fifth paragraph follow the direction for paragraph three using a different term.
For the sixth paragraph choose one term from the principles module and apply it specifically within the work as to how it reinforces the subject matter. The term can come from any of those modules that have already been covered. Do not just state how it exists within the work, but also include the way it enhances the subject of the work.
For the seventh paragraph follow the direction for paragraph six using a different term.
In the last paragraph discuss how the balance or design identified in paragraph two reinforces your opening statement. If you cannot discuss how the balance or design reinforces your opening statement, then adjust your opening statement to make that application easier. But, do not use the terminology in that opening statement. Use it in the closing one
