An annotated bibliography is a descriptive list of the sources you read for your research paper. Please refer to the Files tab to view an excellent example of an annotated bibliography. Your Annotated Bibliography should include:
At least ten credible sources, listed using MLA style, found either using a BC Library Media Center database (Links to an external site.

Proper use of MLA formatting and citation style: one inch margins, 12 point plain font, hanging indents, double spaced, etc.
Refer to our sample illustrated bibliography, as well as the LMC’s handout on evaluating internet sources, which you can find under the “files” tab to the left. Remember, a bibliography does not have to include sources that you use in your paper. It is a text which lists the sources you have read and have been useful in your research.
