Students MUST submit ALL 5 pages [LIFE, WORK, LEGACY, CONCLUSION & WORKS CITED PAGE] of your written assignment, STAPLED together.

Think about what made your critical thinker a great critical thinker.  What in their life [combination of genes and social environment] made him or her a critical thinker or were they singularly focused on their work and legacy throughout their life?

Students should be ready to present their 2^nd Oral on either their Critical Thinker or Topic/Issue Argumentative Essay when called upon.

ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS:

This 5-PAGE PAPER [absolute maximum pages] on your APPROVED CRITICAL THINKER THAT MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING 5 COMPONENTS: 1] FIRST page on his/her LIFE; 2] SECOND page on his/her WORK; 3] THIRD page on his/her LEGACY; and 4] FOURTH page with a CONCLUSION including a statement of how the biography, work and legacy come together to make this person a critical thinker and enabled him/her to make a contribution to life (add word count at bottom of this page). 5] FIFTH page is WORKS CITED.  This final paper MUST INCLUDE the following elements: A] Paper Title  (name of approved critical thinker at top of first page); B] At least 3 relevant quotes from reputable researched findings (one for each of the required component areas… biography, work and legacy); C] Word count (should be stated on separate line immediately below the conclusion on the 4^th page); and D] THE LAST PAGE (5^th) of this assignment is reserved for Works Cited (with MLA listing of at least 2 researched sources used in this paper… See resource file below.. More than one source is needed; website URL links alone are NOT sufficient.)  Note that assistance with writing mechanics (sentence structure, paragraphs, punctuation, etc.) is now available through the D2L-Smarthinking2 icon or from other online tutorial services such as www.Grammarly.com or www.PaperRate.com.
