Ethics is not something that can be transferred through knowledge, this is introduced throughout the early years of life and continues throughout. There is a possibility that some Ethics policy is in place by an organization but it will always be up to that individual to abide by it. Cybersecurity professionals that are white hats work with sensitive data, may encounter secrets, and even bear great power of networks. The biggest challenge is the cybersecurity community is very diverse with individuals from all walks of life. Adrian Knowles presents the idea of introducing education and awareness from early stages of life, by promoting awareness of cybersecurity ethics at the early stages of learning and professional development, we can help ensure that future white hats stay on the right side of the ethical divide. (2016). This can prevent juveniles, or other individuals to use these skills unethically or even be tagged by law enforcement.

I personal think that Artificial Intelligence will be a great asset to cybersecurity in terms of detecting and contain a data breach at its initial stage before it spreads out and affect an entire network (Dewan, 2017). The government and the private sectors can utilize this great tool (AI) to their advantage if they co-ordinate and work together. Affected organizations can share information about the nature of data breach to other organization so that they can develop algorithms to detect and stop the same malware from infiltrating their organization. Unfortunately, private companies and government cannot share information with each other because of privacy laws.
The disadvantage of using Artificial Intelligence in cybersecurity is that it can be used against your organization if it is wrong hands. Then you to do not know which angle they are going to attack you from.

There is no doubt the benefits that Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine learning (ML) can have on Cyber Security. Along with the benefits are increased challenges that come along with it (2017). While AI and ML can help to recognize viruses and attacks, they can also be tricked too. If the hackers understand the ways that the system flags malware in the code and remove that, these viruses could slip in undetected (Giles, 2018).
It comes down to the idea that our society is so depend in on technology, that if attackers find a way to disrupt it, we could all really be in trouble. With some of the things that they hope to use AI and ML for, will help to increase productivity, help to bring cost down, and product higher quality goods. Ideas such as self-driving cars, robots to help with surgery, and many other things they hope to use it for, it is also concerning. There will be people’s lives at stake, and if attackers access these systems, it will be devastating.
