Career Goals Assignment | Homework for You
Hello Professor and Class,
This week’s topic talks about the focus on your career goals. Writing down my goal is always exciting for me because you get to look ahead and make plans for the future. This week’s module in one of the youtube talks about how to start writing down your goals. The thing that stood out the most with this youtube video, she explains to you that you have to see where you are now and then wright down where you want to be. I know when I use to write down my goals I always look at where I want to be, I never look at where I am now.
Where do you see yourself in 1-3 years?
In 1-3 years from now, I see myself as an office manager in a healthcare medical group. I don’t know if I would want to work for a specialty doctor or primary care. Right now all I know is that I would like to be an office manager in any doctor’s office.
How will work or graduate school fit into your life’s plan?
I know for me work has always been apart of my life ever since I left high school I have been working full time and going to school. Therefore work will fit in my life great. When it comes to graduate school I will be in rolling into school soon as I get my degree. I made that mistake last time when I finish high school. I start working full time and took on part-time work for school. Then I stop for a year and came back. I will not stop this time.
What will make you successful as you head out on your own?
The thing that will make me successful going out on my own will be patience and self-determination.
