Hospital Compare was developed by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) with the purpose of helping consumers make decisions where to get health care and to encourage hospitals to improve quality of care.

Select at least two hospitals in your area. Then, for EACH hospital, on the Hospital Compare website:

1. Find the tab “Survey of Patients’ Experiences.”
2. Look at the measure “Patients who reported YES, they would definitely recommend the hospital.”

Post your initial post by Thursday, and include:

1. What is the score of each hospital? Are they higher or lower than the national average?
2. From your learning, list four concepts from Mr. Lee’s presentation, the PowerPoint presentation for the learning plan, and/or your reading that you think could improve the patient experience at this hospital.
