DNP Project Plan

This DNP Project Plan will have 4 parts.

The first part refers to the DNP Duke Projects your reviewed in this module.
Part 1 : Duke or SanJose DNP Project Review (per your choice)
In the opening paragraph, describe/discuss the Duke or San Jose project you reviewed (4-6 sentences).
List 2 strengths of the project you selected (3-4 sentences)
List 2 weaknesses of the project you selected (3-4 sentences)
Include the full reference for the project you reviewed in the assignment reference list.
Part 2: Problem and PICOT Question
Briefly state the problem with citations in 1st paragraph. Revise and improve upon the problem statement from you DNP Project Topic with Interview assignment
Update your PICOT question if warranted and write it at the end of the 1st paragraph.
Express how you will answer the PICOT question in your DNP Project based on your literature search and interview in Module 2 (3-4 paragraphs indicating, per the literature, how you might answer the question). Include the following:
What kind of outcomes-based project might you implement?
How long might it take? Who would be your population/participants?
How will you know when the goal is met? What are you measuring?
List the proposed clinical environment, possible clinical mentor and 3 possible DNP chairs in order of preference. (2-3 paragraphs)
Review the DNP HandbookPreview the document sections regarding clinical environment, clinical mentor, and faculty chair. This will help you make decisions. (I will enter names upon completion)
Your last sentence in this section will say “University Internal Review Board approval will be pursued per DNP Program guidelines and certificates of Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) will be submitted”. Here you reference the appendix where you will include your CITI certificates.
Part 3 : References in APA format (7th Ed.) using Endnote
Part 4: Appendix with your CITI certificate (you may insert screenshot).
