Please remember whenever you are doing a test in QUIZZES, that you should answer every question. While the test has a time limit, it will not cut off when the clock runs out. I do not care if you go over slightly. You would have to go over the past fifteen minutes before I even begin to consider penalizing you.
I do have to provide some restrictions to prevent you from getting overly creative. You are taking this at home an unsupervised so I create these tests knowing that you will have notes at your disposal. That is acceptable. What is not acceptable is for you to Google answers–which generally does not work. The time limit is also to discourage you from doing research to answer the questions during the test. I give you the questions beforehand in the chapter guides. My expectation is that you prepare to answer these questions before you open up the quiz.
In sum, here are my tips: 1) Prepare your notes before starting the quiz. 2) Answer every question 3) Never Google for any answers to anything related to what I teach because you would be going to the wrong source. (And I take off points for Googled crap. Yes, I can tell.) Before you submit the quiz, you will have the opportunity to return to questions that you may have missed or have not yet answered. You can submit your quiz responses at any time. However, if you submit your responses after the time limit expires, your attempt will be recorded as a late submission.
