A working title for your paper
A refined description of the research organization (https://www.stand.la/). In addition to the information included in draft 1, you should begin to describe in-depth the work of the organization in terms of what they are trying to achieve. You can do this by looking at their direct actions, fundraising platforms and funding sources, social media presence, petitions, board members and staff members, and how they are integrated into the local community. You might consider emailing or calling the organization to request an informal interview with leadership or board members. Refine your definition of environmental justice and injustice based on course readings and address the ways in which intersectional analysis is needed to evaluate environmentalism on the ground. Draw on course readings to provide examples and further explanations. Begin to think of this section as the “theoretical framework” by which you evaluate your EJ org. Refine your reflections on how the organization you are studying does or does not address environmental justice using an intersectional approach. Integrate course materials to support your argument.
