Social Media

For this Module’s writing assignment, you are to write the same thing TWICE, only in two vastly different styles.

Your topic is social media, in any form. You may discuss your favorite and least favorite platforms, dating on social media, or how milennials have ruined media. You can discuss why people should give up social media or use more of it. You can talk about your love/hate relationship with it, or why you believe it will all disappear in 20 years. Whatever you feel strongly about.
First, you must write at least two paragraphs in a casual, informal, yet grammatically correct style. Think of this like a blog post. Something people would want to read, but not think too hard about. Perhaps this would be you, at a firm, writing a letter to a client who has little formal education. You do not want to talk down to them, but you want it to be easy to read.
Then, you must write the exact same content in a very formal format–professional, academic, intelligent. Whatever makes you feel like an academic trying to prove a point. For this go round, perhaps you are conveying the information to a judge or a senior lawyer in your firm. Impress them!!
Label both sections appropriately. This needs to be a minimum of four paragraphs but might be longer, depending on your individual preferences. No citations are required.
