Biopsychosocial Model

Describe a biopsychosocial model of either PTSD Summarize the key findings in genetics, neurobiology, psychological processes and socio-cultural processes for either PTSD. Four page requirement-APA format is encouraged but not necessary. Due date is Monday July 13th. Remember a cover page and reference section are not counted as part of the four page requirement. This class provides information on the trauma disorders, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), acute stress disorder, and adjustment disorders. Emphasis is given to factors that influence reactions to traumatic events: including the pre and post traumatic environments, stressors and strengths. This class also examines reactive attachment disorder in children, and the dissociative disorders that are frequently found in the aftermath of trauma.
